Idaho Executive Search FirmsLying pretty as a picture, this agricultural state is bordered by Wyoming, Montana, Utah, Nevada, Washington and British Columbia. The city produces a veritable supply of wheat, hay, beans, peas, lentils and sugar beet and over 30% of potatoes consumed in the United States have been sourced from Idaho. Needless to say, millions of tourists flock to bask in the unspoilt richness of this fertile land where miners uncover the poetic table of the elements in the form of gold, silver and other naturally occurring minerals. Although the state does not depend on mining as much as it used to, Idaho is still a major contributor of silver and lead. Sun Valley is an example of a year round tourist attraction and a model of the many evolving developments within the region along with Craters of Moon where visitors can take a hike, explore lava tube caves and spend the night in a lava flow campground. In summer 2009, a new Wal-Mart supercentre opened along with a couple of new hotels and a badly needed high school. A new regional medical centre will open in 2011. Manufacturing has grown to such an extent that it has overtaken agriculture with its assembly line of computer and electronic equipment, processed foods, lumber and chemicals. Idaho is also home to the world’s largest factory for barrel cheese (the raw product for processed cheese) and INL, a government lab designed for research in nuclear energy. The city is proud of its three Anheuser-Busch facilities which provide malt for breweries throughout the nation and science and technology are now the largest industries, accounting for over a quarter of the total revenue for the State and 70% of the States exports. Hewlett Packard operate a large plant in Boise. Many Fortune 500 companies can trace their roots back to Idaho including Safeways in American Falls and JC Penney in Twin Falls. Employment in the education sector rose between 2008 and 2009 providing an average wage for an elementary/secondary school employee to $29,248 but the number of people working in state jobs took a 6.9% fall during June 2009 and June 2020 whilst the number of employees in local government continued to rise. Employment/salaries within the health industry continued to grow between 2008 and 2009 boosting the overall payroll by $158 million. With more and more people looking for work in the city, business owners are trying hard to balance employee salaries with customer demand. The average wage for a worker in this city is approximately $35,000 but this can vary significantly according to location, company, experience, industry and benefits.
